Scope

These terms apply to the website mostlyweather.com and to the Mostly apps for iOS and Android, offered by theconcept technologies FlexKapG.

What Mostly provides

Mostly computes forecasts from publicly available weather models, shows a rain radar, mountain weather by elevation and official warnings, as far as a source is connected for the country in question.

A forecast is not a promise

Every forecast is a model calculation. The blue band shows the spread of the model runs from the 10th to the 90th percentile — it describes uncertainty and is not a guaranteed probability of being right.

Decisions where life, limb or substantial property are at stake must not rest on Mostly alone.

Official warnings

Warnings come from GeoSphere Austria and the Deutscher Wetterdienst and are reproduced in their wording. What the issuing service publishes is always what counts.

Delivery of notifications depends on the network, the operating system and the push service. In an emergency, do not rely on a notification arriving.

Mostly Pro

Mostly Pro removes the advertising. Purchase, billing, renewal and cancellation run through the App Store or Google Play and follow their terms. Cancelling happens in the settings of that store, not in Mostly.

Advertising

Without Mostly Pro, advertising may appear. It never appears in official warnings.

Availability and changes

Mostly depends on outside data sources and can be incomplete or unreachable at times. Features may change or disappear. These terms may be adjusted; the version that applies is the one on this page.

Liability

Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for personal injury. Claims under the Austrian Product Liability Act and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Governing law

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, the mandatory provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
